This is a Northern view from the platform at Brithdir railway station - a single line. Still visible on the right is the other platform which would have been for the old South bound steam trains. The train (number 150284) arriving has come down from Rhymney and is destined for Cardiff and then Penarth. Cwmsyfiog with Jubilee road can be seen on the right and Phillipstown through to the left.
