Pengam Road
Ystrad Mynach (2023/2)

This oil painting shows Pengam Road, Ystrad Mynach around 2003, It captures the former Police Station dated 1925-2003 which was demolished to make way for Lidl store. The former Cherry Grove School (on the far side of the Police Station) again demolished but rebuilt along Caerphilly Road and is now Trinity Fields School. Pengam Road was a much quieter road then.
