An evening scene with the sun setting in the west. The viewer here is on the mountain road to Bargoed and Fochriw with a great view of Bedlinog and Cwmfelin. In the valley (on the left) we have the Taff Merthyr colliery (closed in 1992). The diesel train passing through still carry coal from Cwm bargoed (North of Bedlnog) to Aberthaw
