This small painting shows the view over the viaduct from what was once the Hengoed high level station. The remains of the two platforms are seen on the sides.

Visitors are now able to walk across the viaduct to Maesycwmmer since it is part of the national cycle network. Ty-Howell-Fechan farm is seen in the distance.
