This painting shows the remains of what was a small community. The village of Troedrhiwfuwch near pontlottyn was demolished in the 1960's/70's due to falling rocks from the mountain that overlooked the village, this is all that remains of the place. Here I have drawn the three terraced houses that are still standing and you can see the middle house has curtains showing? The house in the distance is the former post office with its victorian post box built into the brickwork. The other side of the valley shows the mountain slip with its rock face.
