This painting at 63cm x 46cm is quite large for a watercolour but is needed for the detail. It shows The Square, Abertridwr and is a follow-on painting from Thomas Street which is the road coming in from the left. The Panteg Hotel/pub is on the right and the 1910 Workmans' Institute is seen in the distance. The road to the right continues to Senghenydd.
