This painting shows you looking South with Ponlottyn on the right. Pontlottyn viaduct is a short distance North of here. The shelter shown has changed since I last visited, The steel structure replaces a stone shelter shown in my montage of Pontlottyn. The mountain in the distance is where I sketched details for the Pontlottyn and Rhymney oil painting.
