This painting shows ponies at Troedrhiwfwch with a sunrise showing over the mountain. In the distance is visible the mountain slip which is just North of New Tredegar. This scene is just alongside the old Post Office house at Troedrhiwfuwch - between New Tredegar and Pontlottyn.
