This is an evening painting and what fasinates me is the steepness of the lane leading up to the farm. When I was sketching this three youngsters were walking up the lane, shown in the painting. This farm can also be seen on the right hand side of my painting - 'Looking towards New Tredegar" and in the Coed y Moeth painting.

The country road continues down on the left towards New Tredegar and Tir-phil.
