Welsh landscape paintings - Pentwyn and Fochriw (2006/2)

This painting shows the top end of the valley, Pentwyn in the foreground and Fochriw in the distance. On the left is Pentwyn Church as is the mountain road to Bargoed. Travelling over the mountain from Fochriw Takes us down into Rhymney.

I have to say this image (as with all the others images on this site) doesn't do justice to the painting.
