This is one of my favourite spots and I've painted it on many occasions. This was painted in the summer of 2000 and the paintings of "The Cow and Calf" and "The Magpie" shows what it was like back in 1982.The lane comes down from Cwmdu Farm and the path through the gateway on the right is the former Fleur de lys to Newport railway line.
